PROJECT REGISTER SUBMISSiON GUIDE

It can be daunting to fill out your project information for the first time, but the rewards are great; become a part of the Australian Passivhaus database, help to build momentum around Passivhaus research, promotion, projects and certification.

Below is a walkthrough of the stages of the survey, so you can see how it works and what we require. We’ve designed it to be as future-proof as possible so you won’t need to fill out the same project data again.

Passivhaus Standard buildings can be uploaded upon completion of Certification.

1. prepare your photos

The project register requires you to create a dropbox folder of 5-15 high quality images both in construction and complete. During construction - no more than 3.

Please ensure the resolution is at least 300dpi and the image is a minimum of 1000 x 1000 pixels.

Include a feature image. Please ensure the resolution is at least 300dpi and the image is a minimum of 2000 x 2000 pixels.

All photos must be submitted with permission.

Please note: in instances of projects used on social media, we will refer to them by name with link to full credits on the project register. This is designed to ensure accuracy without inconsistencies.

2. prepare your data

The information we ask for includes PH Performance such as thermal load, technical details such as various elements' u-values, some personal quotes from yourself or your team about the building.

If your building is listed on the International Database, it would be useful to have this information to hand as you fill in the form.

We suggest downloading this pdf of the full list of questions below to prepare, as you won’t be able to save your survey halfway through.

3. FILL OUT THE SURVEY

Allow a couple of hours of time to fill out the data just in case. The survey is self explanatory and easy to use. Since it does not allow saving part way through, please prepare all information as in the previous steps.

4. WAIT

We are only a small team and it might take more than a fortnight before you can expect to see your project on the site.

5. promote your project

Share your project on socials, email lists and wherever you like. This not only helps your project team but the Passivhaus Standard. Be sure to mention us and State that full project credits are on the webpage.

Remember that projects referred to on social media will only be referred to by name with link to full credits on the project’s page in our register. This is designed to ensure accuracy without inconsistencies.
