Invitation to contribute to research on mass timber construction

RMIT University’s Paul Kremer seeks perspectives from within the construction industry.

The survey will include questions about mass timber as it relates to the circular economy, Open Building methodology, carbon reduction strategies, and supply and/or design considerations.

The project seeks your opinions about carbon reduction initiatives, market drivers, specifically focusing on the imperative shift towards low carbon practices in the construction sector, socio-economic and environmental factors influencing low to mid-rise housing markets, considering the ethical challenges and opportunities therein.

Paul is investigating market economics, including housing demand and supply dynamics, to understand the broader context in which sustainable construction solutions operate.

The results of this research will be used by the researcher Paul Kremer as part of a research project. This research has been initiated by the following researchers, Dr Paul Kremer, Prof Ron Wakefield, Dr Alireza Ahankoob and Dr Behzad Abbasnejad.
